Cornish Spiced Rum, Crafted in St Ives.

THERE’S ALWAYS A LITTLE TRUTH IN THE LEGENDS…

Our beloved hometown of St Ives is steeped in folklore, that’s for sure. Our rum is named after “The Island” in St Ives, where it was rumoured that the cove of St Ia actually contained smuggling tunnels that flowed underground to the cellars of the town’s taverns. Pirates and Smugglers would use these to supply barrels of contraband and crates of exotics to the landlords and their patrons.

Beyond the cove, however, sailors were warned of the murderous mermaids of Zennor. Ships would often be seduced by the sirens’ songs, only to be feasted upon moments later. If the shores of Zennor turned red, fishermen knew why. Today it honours those tales and seeks to support all local efforts to keep the St Ives’ legends, shanties, and past times alive… while enjoying a glug or two, of course.
